Every town has its legends. Ours just happens to grow out of a sandbar. Palm Tree Island isn’t marked on any map — it’s a local secret tucked between tides at Wrightsville Beach. What started as a single palm “planted” for fun has grown into a coastal icon, complete with a cheeky parking meter that locals call the last free parking. 🌊🚤 If you’re a Wilmingtonian, you get it!
At low tide, it’s a beach. At high tide, it’s gone. On weekdays, it’s a quiet spot for kayaks and paddleboards. On weekends, it’s the sandbar republic — boats anchored all around, music floating across the water, and one lone palm waving above it all.
We made this tee to celebrate that legend. To wear the story. To remind us that some places only belong to the tides, the locals, and the ones who know where to look.
